AI runs on compute and energy. Our name comes from Cooma, New South Wales.
The Snowy Mountains Scheme was run from here, helping solve Australia's energy needs. It was built by more than 100,000 people from more than thirty nations.
Today, Cooma is a base for Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. Under construction, it is designed to provide 2,200 MW of on-demand power and 350 GWh of storage, with a design life of 150 years.
Where Australia is solving energy, we are solving compute: international expertise, building Australian AI capability, trusted and governed in Australia.
